About Mirjam

We think that only the front of the CV is important. Your and my training, certifications, interesting assignments and clients/employers. Check – I have those.

The short version: change expert (graduated with honors), author, previously worked as a senior consultant at Berenschot and trainer/international program manager at Schouten & Nelissen/Schouten Global.

But real contact? This is created at the back of the CV. Where I ask you about your guiding principles as a manager and you ask me why I ever decided to start my own business. That will certainly lead to great conversations.

I would tell you that my family is one-third techies, one-third teachers, and one-third farmers. The ideal composition for the work I do, someone once told me. ‘Yes, because you really want to know how something works, you like to pass on your knowledge and you want to grow something: today’s leadership.’ That’s absolutely right.

The core of that new leadership is the connection that brings innovation. Connect in such a way – with yourself, with employees and with the issues along the way – that you make a sustainable difference in the renewal of your team or organization.

There’s a good chance I’m climbing a few pet peeves at this point in our conversation. 😉 About how important it is that you just do it every day, that innovative leadership. But also about the leadership lessons that I learn every day. As a person, as an parent of two teenagers, as a professional, partner, daughter, sister and friend.

Always with the intention to consciously grow and contribute to today’s leadership.
